About us

The band SADU was born from a desire to create music where courage, strength, vulnerability, and tenderness take center stage — everything that resonates and pierces.

With a fresh and distinctive sound, SADU blends elements of folk, pop, and world music. Their music is created in collaboration with producer and songwriter Fredi (Frederik Küüts).

The band’s lineup includes Sandra Sillamaa (vocals, bagpipes, and other traditional wind instruments), Sofia-Liis Liiv (vocals, violin), Frederik Küüts (guitar, backing vocals), and Robert Leht (drums).

In September 2025, SADU released their debut album PROBLEEMID PARADIISIS. Their first concerts sold out within a matter of hours.

In January 2026, SADU was awarded three titles at the Estonian Music Awards gala: Debut Album of the Year, Band of the Year, and Album of the Year. In just half a year, their music has amassed over 10.7 million streams across all major streaming platforms.
